Ken Houston & Darrin Brady Live in Studio: Acoustic Covers, Gig Stories & Musician Pet Peeves
Derrick and Jeff welcome musicians Ken Houston and Darrin Brady into the studio for an episode featuring live acoustic performances and casual conversation. Ken and Darrin talk about staying busy with local gigs (including multiple Huey’s locations, Villa Castriotti, Old Whitten Tavern, Owner’s Box, and Maeve’s Tavern), and how their duo began during COVID restrictions. In-studio, they perform Jackson Browne’s “Running on Empty,” Styx’s “Lady,” the Friends theme “I’ll Be There for You,” and Def Leppard’s “Two Steps Behind,” then wrap with booking info and a fun segment on musician pet peeves.
